In December of year 1996, the Company, in alliance with Atlantic Pacific Technologies of California, U.S.A., was awarded a contract by Brunei Shell Petroleum Sdn Bhd (BSP) to establish, manage and operate an engineered sanitary landfill. The facility designed for solid waste treatment and disposal represents the first engineered landfill of its type in the ASEAN region. The Solid Waste Management Centre is located at K-37, Anduki, Seria.
It is Duaodua-APT Waste Management Sdn Bhd’s (DAWM) objective to seamlessly transfer this technology to Brunei and its customers. Currently, we are accepting routine waste (e.g. domestic, garden, industrial) and asbestos waste.
Duaodua-APT Waste Management Sdn Bhd structure has grown out through understanding the need to provide complete turnkey solutions for an integrated waste management system With the Company’s mission of developing and working towards an efficient and cost-effective waste management for a sustainable environment, it has once again exceeded expectations by embarking on a new endeavor—the production of Duaodua Organic Compost early 2003.
